Unreal engine 3 - An engine you can use to get a game off the ground quickly. Allows you access to boat loads of example assets that an art team can use as a gauge on how detailed models need to be. Flexibility as the UDK allows you the ability to distribute games online, sale them, or switch to unreal tournament 3 UDK to make games in the same general environment and distribute them for PS3 yourself... for free. That way you can focus on the game instead of how are you going to make the game visible for others to play.
