I was always under the impression that the mutant registration & containment era took the place of the civil rights era. with Charles Xavier and magneto taking two sides on the issue.
I.E. there was no civil rights movement only the mutant liberation movement.
Now it looks like there was a civil rights era......
Which leads me back to the question if african americans were descriminated against was there an enslavement period?
I know wikanda was suppose to be a nation in Africa that wasn't colonized, meaning other nations were ..but India was colonized also and no people were "enslaved" from there ....indentured in the Caribbean and south sea islands yes, I know.
